My name is Carolina, but in the art world, I go by the pseudonym Caro Waro. I am a character designer, comic artist, and concept artist from Spain, originally from Andalusia and currently based in Madrid.

As an artist, my goal is to infuse my creations with authenticity and depth by channeling my experiences, personal universe, and passions into my work. To me, great design must feel genuine!

Professionally, I serve as the Art Director at Chibig Studio, where I’ve contributed to titles such as Summer in Mara, Koa and the Five Pirates, and Creatures of Ava. Additionally, I am a comic artist for Spaceman Project, where, alongside Garbunka, I recently completed the Crepanquine saga.

I’m a curious and restless creator, always eager to explore and experiment with different techniques. It’s not unusual to find me painting with watercolors in the morning, sculpting a 3D character in the afternoon, and working on an engraving at night. I love trying new things, blending techniques, and continuing to learn.
