Asteroid

Asteroid was my very first project that grew into a finished artbook, crafted with watercolors and gouache. It was a labor of love, a collection of heroes, villains, and creatures that sparked my imagination and pushed my creative limits. This book became more than just an accomplishment; it laid the foundation for other projects I’m still working on today, like Creepanquine.

The project was launched on Kickstarter, and I’ll be honest—it turned out to be far more demanding than I ever anticipated. From late nights painting to managing backer rewards, every step was a lesson in perseverance. But seeing the final book in my hands made every moment of hard work worth it. The response from backers and supporters was overwhelmingly positive, which was both humbling and inspiring.

There’s something truly magical about your first project. Asteroid holds a special place in my heart because it was the start of everything. Maybe it’s not perfect, but it’s about how I started, and that’s what makes it beautiful to me. Looking back, I realize it wasn’t just the art that grew—it was also me.
